More information

1,350+ practice questions covering the whole Bocconi Law test: Logic & Critical Thinking, Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Mathematics and Numerical Reasoning, plus full-length 50-question mocks that reproduce the real format and negative marking. Every question is auto-graded with step-by-step worked solutions — built for the law test's reasoning-heavy structure, not recycled from the standard test.

The largest section of the law test — 18 of 50 questions — and where preparation pays most. Two skills, per the official syllabus:

  • Propositions about data: judge statements against given information — true, false, or cannot be deduced
  • Deductive reasoning: draw the conclusions that follow logically from a set of initial conditions

Both reward strict, evidence-only reasoning under time pressure. All auto-graded with worked solutions.

Reading Comprehension (11): passages with humanistic themes; questions test both the explicit content and what's implied.

Verbal Reasoning (10): argument analysis — what can be deduced from an argument, which assumptions it rests on, and what would strengthen or weaken it.

Together these are 21 of 50 questions: the law test is, above all, a careful-reading test.

Mathematics (5): the law syllabus is deliberately narrow — properties of plane figures, basic analytical geometry, sets, and numbers/arithmetic. No algebra, trigonometry or probability, so don't over-prepare the wrong topics.

Numerical Reasoning (6): reading charts and tables correctly and separating relevant from superfluous information — the calculations themselves are simple.

Full-length 50-question / 75-minute mocks in the real structure, scored exactly as Bocconi does: +1 correct, 0 blank, -0.2 wrong, and -0.33 on 3-option Logic & Critical Thinking items. Scores below the 17-point floor are excluded from selection entirely. Step-by-step worked solutions for every question.

Why preparation matters

The test is the biggest lever you control

Bocconi weighs your application 55% test score, 45% GPA (third- and second-last year) — and the test is the part you can still change between now and your round.

The section that decides the law test

Over a third of the test is logic: judging propositions against data (true / false / cannot be deduced) and deducing what follows from initial conditions. It's learnable pattern recognition — and the single biggest score lever.

  • Propositions about data: true / false / cannot-be-deduced
  • Deductions from initial conditions
  • Worked reasoning for every item

Reading & Verbal Reasoning · 21 questions

Read like a lawyer

Humanistic passages testing explicit and implicit content, plus argument analysis: what's deducible, what's assumed, what strengthens or weakens. Careful, evidence-only reading — trained deliberately, with negative marking in mind.

  • Explicit and implicit meaning in passages
  • Assumptions, inferences, strengthen/weaken
  • Worked explanations for every item

Maths (law scope) & Numerical · 11 questions

Narrow maths, done properly

Law maths covers only plane geometry, basic analytical geometry, sets and numbers — far narrower than the standard test. We keep you inside the real syllabus so you don't burn weeks on algebra that won't appear.

  • Plane figures and their properties
  • Analytical geometry basics, sets, numbers
  • Charts & tables: relevant vs superfluous data

The whole test, exactly as it feels

50 questions in 75 minutes in the real law-test structure, scored with negative marking — so test day holds no surprises.

  • Real five-section structure
  • Real +1 / 0 / -0.2 scoring (-0.33 on 3-option logic items)
  • Timed simulation that builds pacing
