More information
Full coverage of the Bocconi Online Test: Mathematics, Reading Comprehension, Critical Thinking and Numerical Reasoning, plus full-length 50-question mocks that reproduce the real format, mixed-topic order and negative marking. Every question is auto-graded with step-by-step worked solutions, so you can practise until the whole test feels routine.
The largest section — 24 of 50 questions — and the BAI gate (≥11/28 in Maths). Our bank follows the official topic list:
- Algebra: polynomials, powers, radicals; equations, inequalities and systems; absolute values
- Functions: notation, inverse and composite functions; graphs of powers, logs, exponentials
- Geometry & analytical geometry: standard shapes; lines, parabolas, circles
- Trigonometry: identities and right-triangle applications
- Sets, logarithms & exponentials
- Discrete maths: permutations, combinations, counting
- Numbers: percentages, unit conversions, ordering
- Probability: conditional probability and Bayes' theorem
- Statistics: frequency distributions, central tendency and dispersion
All auto-graded with worked solutions.
20 of 50 questions (Reading Comprehension 11, Critical Thinking 9). Reading Comprehension tests explicit and implicit meaning in a passage. Critical Thinking asks you to decide, from the data or passage alone, whether a statement is true, false, or cannot be deduced — and the 3-option items carry a heavier -0.33 penalty. We train evidence-only reading with worked explanations.
6 questions about reasoning over data rather than advanced maths — reading charts and tables correctly, separating relevant from superfluous information, and doing fast, simple calculations. Drilled with worked solutions.
Beyond the per-area banks, you get full-length 50-question / 75-minute mocks with mixed difficulty and topic order, exactly like the real test. Everything is auto-graded with the real marking scheme (+1 / 0 / -0.2, -0.33 on 3-option Critical Thinking), and every question has a step-by-step worked solution.
The test is the biggest lever you control
Your Bocconi admission decision is roughly half test score, half transcript — and the test is the part you can still change between now and your round.
- 50-55%
- of the admission decision is your test score
- 4
- areas fully covered: Maths, Reading, Critical Thinking, Numerical
- 50 Q
- full-length mocks in the real 75-minute format

The section that moves your score most
Nearly half the test is Maths. Practise the full official scope — algebra, functions, geometry, trig, probability and statistics — auto-graded with worked solutions, and clear the BAI ≥11/28 bar if AI is on your list.
- Probability incl. conditional probability & Bayes
- Functions, logs, exponentials and their graphs
- Discrete maths: permutations, combinations, counting

Train evidence-only reading
Reading Comprehension and Critical Thinking reward reading carefully and judging statements strictly on what the text supports — true, false, or cannot be deduced. We build that discipline, with the -0.33 penalty on 3-option items in mind.
- Explicit and implicit meaning in passages
- True / false / cannot-be-deduced judgements
- Worked explanations for every item

Read the data, not the formula
These reward correctly reading charts and tables and separating what matters from what doesn't — the calculations are simple. Quick wins if you've practised the pattern.
- Charts, tables and data interpretation
- Relevant vs superfluous information
- Fast, simple calculation under time

The whole test, exactly as it feels
50 questions in 75 minutes, mixed by topic and difficulty, scored with real negative marking — so test day holds no surprises.
- Mixed-topic, mixed-difficulty order
- Real +1 / 0 / -0.2 (-0.33 on 3-option CT) scoring
- Timed simulation that builds pacing

Within minutes of purchase you'll receive an email to set up your BocconiPrep account and start practising right away.
Start practising
Begin untimed across all four areas to learn the format, then move to full-length, negative-marked mocks to build pacing.
Book your test attempt
Book on Bocconi's webtesting platform (EUR 60 per attempt, up to 4 per year). Popular slots near deadlines sell out — book early.
Take the test in your round
Sit the 50-question, 75-minute test in your chosen round. Around 60-70% of seats go in the Early round and 25-30% in Winter, so earlier is generally stronger.
Practice access
Your access runs through the 2026/27 admissions window. ⚠️ Confirm the exact end date.
